Parakaleo is the writing side of my ministry of coming alongside the suffering and those who give care to them- whether personally or professionally. As such, I want this site to be a kind of clearing house of reflections, ideas and practices that serve to bring hope and comfort to the hurting.

Second, I intend this site to be a place of advocacy on behalf of those who suffer. You might say that here, I will be writing about ministry to, with, and on behalf of those who suffer and those who care for them.

Third, I intend this site as a first stage in a ministry I hope to develop that will offer training, coaching, and any other assistance to those who are new to caregiving or who want to become better offering it.
